Prideway Partnerships
PalmettoPride, the SCDOT and the SC Department of Corrections have come together to create Palmetto Prideways – a program dedicated to making our highways a source of state pride. We offer an opportunity for businesses, organizations or individuals to show their civic pride by sponsoring sections of interstate to be cleaned by inmate-clean-up services. Each sponsored section of interstate will include signage with your company’s name. It’s a great way to show you care about keeping our state beautiful while receiving a healthy dose of PR, recognition and goodwill.
Here’s how it works:
• Each Prideway consists of approximately 1 mile of highway.
• Your organization contracts with PalmettoPride for signage and cleaning of your section.
• The Department of Corrections will remove and properly dispose of litter.
• SCDOT puts up signage that recognizes your organization as a sponsor.
