Community Pride Grant
The Community Pride Grant is a competitive grant that provides organizations up to $8,000 to create successful community anti-litter programs and beautification activities in South Carolina.

Levels of Funding
Items not covered by grant: Absolutely no Salary/Stipends or Labor Costs
- Up to $2,000 neighborhood or community group
- Up to $4,000 city or municipality
- Up to $8,000 county program, state agency
Eligible Applicants
All litter control organizations, beautification groups, government organizations, neighborhood associations and non-profit organizations in South Carolina are eligible to apply for these funds. Priority will be given to those groups who partner with other volunteer organizations committed to litter reduction.
Grant Guidelines
- Participate in the Great American Cleanup (March – May)
- Must submit GAC cleanup results online
- Must submit 3 reports: progress, expenditure and final
- All projects planned in SCDOT right of ways must be approved by SCDOT and follow native planting guides for long-term results.
- Beautification projects must include a signed long-term maintenance agreement, landscaping plan and/or photos of intended project area
KSCB Affiliate Grant
PalmettoPride will award grants to certified Keep America Beautiful affiliates for the purpose of creating and maintaining successful litter reduction and beautification efforts in South Carolina.

Levels of Funding
- Up to $8,000 current KAB Affiliates
- Up to $10,000 KAB Affiliate Start Up (New KAB Affiliates Only) – This grant will only be awarded to groups who successfully complete the new Keep America Beautiful affiliate certification process.
Eligible Applicants
Certified Keep America Beautiful (KAB) affiliate groups in good standing are eligible to apply for these funds.

Tree Grant
PalmettoPride is donating trees to be used in beautification projects around the state. All trees must be planted on public spaces accessible to all citizens. All trees are 4-6 feet in height and 1-1 ½ inch in diameter and are in 5 gallon nursery pots.

There is no monetary funding for this grant. Tree donation only.
Eligible Applicants
Litter control organizations, beautification groups, government organizations, neighborhood associations and non-profit organizations in South Carolina are eligible to apply for these trees. Priority will be given to those groups who partner with other organizations, including KAB affiliates.
Grant Guidelines
- Trees must be planted on public property accessible to all citizens. (i.e. parks, churches, schools, etc.)
- Must include signed long-term maintenance agreement, landscaping plan and/or photos of intended project area
- All projects planned in SCDOT right of ways must be approved by SCDOT and follow native planting guides for long-term results.
