SC LITTER CONTROL ASSOCIATION OUTGOING PRESIDENT RECOGNIZED BY GENERAL ASSE
 For Immediate Release Media Contact: February 18, 2010 Sarah Robinson, 803-758-6034 SC LITTER CONTROL ASSOCIATION OUTGOING PRESIDENT RECOGNIZED BY GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR EFFORTS IN ENFORCEMENT Litter Control Officers and Keep America Beautiful Affiliates Receive Awards at Annual Conference and Awards Banquet Columbia, SC – PalmettoPride, South Carolina's anti-litter and beautification organization, surprised SC Litter Control Association (SCLCA) outgoing president on Thursday, February 11, 2010, with a Concurrent Resolution from the South Carolina General Assembly. The Concurrent Resolution honored Ryan Lesesne “for his dedicated service to the City of Hartsville and South Carolina for his efforts in litter eradication and the advancements of litter control enforcement, his service in the South Carolina Litter Control Association and his participation with PalmettoPride”. Lesesne, who has been an active member of SCLCA and founder of the Awareness of Zero Tolerance for Litter Campaign, will be retiring from the Board of Directors this year. “Ryan has been a leader and champion for the anti-litter movement in South Carolina,” said Linda Shadel, Director of Operations for PalmettoPride. “He deserves recognition for his hard work and passion.” The awards banquet, held during the SCLCA/Keep South Carolina Beautiful annual conference, also honored law enforcement agents and Keep America Beautiful affiliates for their leadership and programs. PalmettoPride assists SCLCA with the conference and is also the parent organization to Keep SC Beautiful.
