PALMETTOPRIDE GRANTS AVAILABLE NOW THROUGH OCTOBER
Two of Five Grants Are Available for Submission Now Who: PalmettoPride, the state anti-litter and beautification organization What: The 2008-2009 PalmettoPride Grants season is open. Two of the five grants are available for download now on their website: KSCB and Tree. The KSCB Grant assists existing Keep America Beautiful affiliates in SC with grants to develop programs. Your organization must be a KAB affiliate to receive this grant. The Tree Grant provides free trees to governments and communities throughout the state to be used in beautification projects on public places. Three other grants will be available throughout the fall: The Challenge for the Environment Grant on September 5; the Community Pride Grant on October 20; and the Enforcement Grant on October 27. How: Application are available for download at www.palmettopride.org. For those without access to a computer, please contact PalmettoPride at 803-758-6034 for an application. PalmettoPride is the state anti-litter and beautification program. Our mission is to eradicate litter and promote beautification. We accomplish this mission through a four-pronged approach: education, enforcement, awareness and pickup.
